DIGITAL RECORDING CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES Monday, October 26, 2020 A Virtual Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 3:00 PM, with Council President Eric Younger presiding. Council members present were Michael Goodnow, Lori Wheat, Kevin Gorman, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Council Member Mike Simpson was absent. Legislative Office Manager Lori Smith was available to provide staff support. President Younger announced that tonight's Budget Workshop was for the Council to hear presentations on the proposed 2021 Budget. It was further announced that members of the public were invited to listen in, but there would be no opportunities during the meeting for input or participation; and that no action will be taken. Financial Services Director Mike Riley led the discussion by first providing the background on the 2021 Budget process, followed by an overview on General Government Funds; and then led the presentations on all General Fund Departments (except Public Works), President Younger announced a brief recess from 6:00 to 6:07 PM... Mr. Riley announced that the next Budget Workshop on Thursday, October 29 would also be held remotely beginning at 3:00 PM, and would focus on the Public Works & Utilities Department. He further announced that any questions or requests for information should be )mailed to him or Jamie Ginter with a copy of the email to Mayor Wheeler and the Council Members; and any responses provided would be copied to all. With no further business, President Younger adjourned the Budget Workshop at 640 PM.
