CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES Wednesday, October 14, 2020 A virtual Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Eric Younger presiding. Council Members present were Mike Simpson, Michael Goodnow, Lori Wheat, Kevin Gorman, and Pat Sullivan. Council Member Leslie Daugs was absent. Lori Smith, Legislative Office Manager, was present to provide staff support. President Younger established that to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the City Council is conducting the Study Session via a Zoom webinar with Council Members and staff participating remotely. He further established that the Study Session was open for the public to listen in, but there would be no opportunities for input, no action is anticipated; and the content of these items is subject to change. If approved by the Council, items will be placed on the October 21, 2020 City Council Virtual Meeting Agenda... A. BRIEFINGS ON AGENDA ITEMS 1. Public Works Agreement with Holt Services, Inc. for Well 6R Rehabilitation Consent Agenda 2. Proposed Public Hearing for the 2020 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Public Hearing 3. Confirm Reappointment of Tim Baker to the Parks &Recreation Commission Consent Agenda 4. Amendment No. 1 to the Telecommunications Facilities Lease with American Tower Asset Sub, LLC Consent Agenda 5. GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS o Audit Committee Briefing (10/06/20 Meeting) -Committee Member Mike Simpson o General Council Business was discussed, including an opportunity for the Council Members to sign a letter of support for St. Michael's Hospital workforce. President Younger announced the next City Council Meeting would also be held remotely on Wednesday, October 21; and along with his fellow Council Members wished Legislative Office Manager Lori Smith a happy birthday and hoped 0he enjoyed her week off.
