CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />Wednesday, October 14, 2020 <br />A virtual Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order on <br />Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Eric Younger presiding. Council <br />Members present were Mike Simpson, Michael Goodnow, Lori Wheat, Kevin Gorman, and Pat <br />Sullivan. Council Member Leslie Daugs was absent. Lori Smith, Legislative Office Manager, was <br />present to provide staff support. <br />President Younger established that to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the City Council is <br />conducting the Study Session via a Zoom webinar with Council Members and staff participating <br />remotely. He further established that the Study Session was open for the public to listen in, but <br />there would be no opportunities for input, no action is anticipated; and the content of these items is <br />subject to change. If approved by the Council, items will be placed on the October 21, 2020 City <br />Council Virtual Meeting Agenda... <br />A. BRIEFINGS ON AGENDA ITEMS <br />1. Public Works Agreement with Holt Services, Inc. for Well 6R Rehabilitation Consent <br />Agenda <br />2. Proposed Public Hearing for the 2020 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant <br />Public Hearing <br />3. Confirm Reappointment of Tim Baker to the Parks &Recreation Commission Consent <br />Agenda <br />4. Amendment No. 1 to the Telecommunications Facilities Lease with American Tower Asset <br />Sub, LLC Consent Agenda <br />5. Professional Services Agreement with Kitsap Humane Society for Animal Control Services <br />(Eric Stevens, KHS Executive Director also presented...) Consent Agenda <br />6. GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />o Audit Committee Briefing (10/06/20 Meeting) -Committee Member Mike Simpson <br />o General Council Business was discussed, including an opportunity for the Council Members <br />to sign a letter of support for St. Michael's Hospital workforce. <br />President Younger announced the next City Council Meeting would also be held remotely on <br />Wednesday, October 21; and along with his fellow Council Members wished Legislative Office <br />Manager Lori Smith a happy birthday and hoped 0he enjoyed her week off. <br />
