THE GRANTORS,C.C.Howard and Jessie Howard, husband and wife, of the
city of Bremerton, county of Kitsap, state of Washington,
for and in consi~ration of One and no/100 .................. ES1. 00)Dollars,
in hand paid,
convey and quit claim to City of Bremerton, a municipal corporation,
the following described real estate, situated in the County of Kitsap,
State of Wa~ington:
A strip of land lying in and being a part of Lot 3, Tract 3, Decatur
Acre Tracts, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at
a point N 01°47,20'' E 17.00 feet from the intersection of the West
margin of State Highway No. ~-B with the south line of Lot 3,Tract 3,
said Decatur Acre T~acts; thence N 87°31,15'' W 2.73 feet; thence N
0°51'00" E 65.01 feet; thence S 87°31'15'' E 3.79 feet to the West margin
of said State H~ghway No. 21-B; thence S 01°47'20" W along s~.d West
margin 65.00 feet to the point of beginning. To be used ~r street
purposes.
In further consideration of this grant, the City of Bremerton agrees that
it will remove any plants, shrubs or bulbs which may now be located on the
land above described and, with the exercise of good care, place any such
pl~ts, shrubs or bulbs upon the adjoining premises of the grantors until
such time as they may be returned to the east boundary of the adjoining
premises, at w~ch time the city agrees that it will again, upon request
of the grantors, replace such plants, shrubs, and bulbs. The city also
agrees that it will replace in a location satisfactory7 to the grantors
the concrete steps now existing on the premises above described.
