ami between the United States of America (hereinafter called the "Government..),
acting by and through the Federal Works A~m~ nistrator (hereinafter called the
"Admin~strator.)~ and the City of Bremerton· Kitsap County, State of Wash~gtom
(hereinafter called the "City").
I~P~J~S, pursuant to the provisions of Public No. 8~9, ?6th Congress·
approved October 14, 19~,as amended (hereinafter called the "Act"), the
Government has acquired certain fire fighting facilities under its Project
Nos. ~5-267-F and ~5-901-F in or near the City of Bremerton, Kitsap County,
Washington; and
~REAS, pursuant to the authority conferred by the Act, the Government
has agreed to sell to the City and the City has agreed to purchase from the
Government all of the Governmentts right, title and interest in and to the
aforesaid fire fighting facilities upon terms which the Administrator deems
to be in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL ~ BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the Government, in consideration of the premises and the payment to
it by the City of the sum of Forty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Eleven Dollars
($~8·511.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged~ does hereby remise, release and forever quitclaim unto the
City of Bremerton, Washington, all the Government's right· title and interest
in and to said fire fighting facilities and in and to the following described
real property~ including the ~mpro~ements t~ereon, in the City of Bremerton,
