Dear Sirs and ~{adam: Several months a~o you authorized me to obtain by purchase a portion of Lots 20 and 21, Blocl,~ "E", Oyster Bay Addition to Port Orchal~d Navy Yard, for street purposes. Because of a defect in the title, it was i~possible to obtain a comveyance until recently, but I am now in possession of a warranty deed and title certificate w~ioh I ha~¢t you herewith and which are sufficient for the city's purposes. T-~e cost of acquiring title to these premises was [~50.0~ and a warrant in that amount has been sent to the attorney for the owner. I recommend that t~e deed be recorded and that the title cer- tificate be filed by the city clerk and that tt~e resolution dedicating said pr'smises for street purposes also enclosed he~,ewitL be adopted by the city council. RAY and BLANCHE FRANKLIN, the interest of each being their separate estates, owners of said portion of lot 21. This certificate is made without regard to the suf- ficiency of the title in the above parties. The liability under this certificate is limited to not exceeding the sum of $7.50.
