maintaining, repairing and operating the sewer and water lines as
now located within the Project, and
W~EREAS, it is to the best interest of the Government to have
the city of Bremerton operate, repair and maintain said water and
sewer lines.
NOW, THEREFORE, for go~d and valuable consideration the re-
ceipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the United States of America,
acting by and through the Public Housing A~inistration, hereby
remises, releases and quitclaims unto the City of Bremerton, Wash-
ington, a mu3aicipal corooration, an easement for sewer lines and
water lines within the Project located in the County of Kitsap,
State of Washington, said water lines and sewer lines being locat-
ed within the perimeter boundary of the Project as shown on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto a~ shown more in detail in the ten (lC) addi-
tional plats attached hereto marked Exhibit "B" and Exhibits i to
9 inclusive, provided, however, that said easements herein granted
are limited to the water lines and sewer lines, up to service con-
nections, as now installed and shown on the l0 plats marked Ex-
hibit "B" and Exhibits i to 9 inclusive, together with the right
to ingress and egress to said premises for the purposes of operat-
ing, repairing and maintaining said water lines and sewer .lines.
FOR GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, the Unit ed States of America, acting by
and through the Public Housing Administration, further grants,
bargain~ and sells onto the City of Bremerton, Washington all of
the Ooverm~ent's right, title and interest in and to the water
lines and sewer lines referred to above as they now exist and are
shown on the ten plate marked Exhibit B and E~ibits i to 9 inclu-
sive.
The Grantee oonvenants that if it becomes necessary to exca-
vate for the purposes of operating, repairing or maintaining said
water lines or sewer lines, the Grantee will restore the premises
to as good a condition as exists prior to said excavation.
