As you are aware, lan Sievers has left his position as City Attorney to enter into private practice with a law firm in Bellevue. Before Ian left, I was advised that your clients executed the Exchange Agreement and you forwarded it to the City for signatures. It is my understanding that your clients are "out of the country" until the end of the month and a closing date will not be set until the Haselwoods return. I thought it would be more advantageous to have your office contact Land Title to set up closing since you will be able to give them a more precise date that you expect your clients to return on. Therefore, I am forwarding the original Real Estate Exchange Agreement to you to give to Land Title Escrow so that they can begin working on the closing. Should you have any questions or concerns in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact me. My direct line at the City is 478-7955. Sincerely, J~.K~E R.
