'.0 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the subject site and vicinity with respect to general
site environmental conditions as a result of previous or on-going activities. In addition. our
purpose and scope was to submit soil samples collected from the site for analytical testing
in an effort to assess the potential for contaminant impact. The scope of work for the Phase
I portion of this study consisted predominantly of gathering readily available information. The
Phase II portion of the study included test pit excavations and the collection and analysis of
soil samples. Based on these tasks. this report presents AGRA's opinion concerning
environmental conditions at the site which may have resulted from both past or current on-site
and off-site activities. The assessment of the site included:
· A site reconnaissance for the purpose of assessing existing conditions and
evaluating, if possible. any reported environmental concerns at the site;
. A visual reconnaissance of the immediate site vicinity for the purpose of
evaluating land use and making relevant observations regarding the potential for
environmental concerns to exist in this vicinity;
. A review of areal photographs. building department records. Polk's directories,
or other available historic information concerning past activities at the subject
site;
. A review of regulatory agency files and data base lists for the purpose of
evaluating reported environmental problems in the immediate vicinity of the
subiect site:
. A subsurface investigation. including sampling and analytical testing of soil
samples collected from onsite excavations: and,
. Preparation of this limited Phase I and Phase 11 Site Assessment Report
documenting the findings of the study,
This report has been prepared in accordance with generally accepted environmental
assessment practices. for the exclusive use of the Bremerton School District and its agents
for specific application to the project site. No other warranty. express or implied. is made,
In the event any changes occur at the site or on adjacent properties. this report should be
reviewed by AGRA Earth & Environmental. Inc. and amended as necessary.
