Yager and Dee L. Yager in lieu of foreclosure for delinquent LID Assessment for your information and file. I will forward the original Deed to you after I have recorded the same with the County Auditor. Ian instructed me to tell you that we could move ahead with the surplusing on this property now. I know that your department would usually go ahead and take care of recording the Deed, but I decided to go ahead and take care of it because I will need to be sure to provide the Stringhams' attorney in this matter, as well as Casey & Pruzan, with a recorded copy. Also, when we forwarded the Quit Claim Deed to the Stringhams' attorney for execution by the Stringhams, we inadvertently forgot to forward an Excise Tax Affidavit which we will have to provide to the County Treasurer even though we will not have to pay an excise tax fee. I have forwarded an Excise Tax Affidavit to the Stringhams' attorney to sign and return to our office (see copy of letter attached). When I receive the executed Excise Tax statement back from the stringhams' attorney, I will go ahead and record the Deed and forward the original to you.
