Ms. Jackie Dixon:
Thank you for your May 21st letter regarding the property
~ransaction. I am returning the original documents signed.
~owever, I have signed these documents with the understanding
that the cash proceeds payable to seller at closing will
actually be $11,958.12 rather then the figure stated on the
closing statement. This $1,000 difference is the earnest
money that you have already paid. It is my understanding in
talking with Sharon Hill (my Realtor) that since they have
this $1,000 in their trust account, you will reimburse them
their additional $350 for their commission (for a total of
$1.350) so that they do not also have to send me a check.
If this arrangement is different then what you anticipate,
please give me a call at (206) 352-1733; or if you need to
reach me on Wednesday call (206) 754-6320. Please do not file
any ~ocuments until we have a common understanding of the
fun~ transfer arrangement.
It seems to me the above scenario is the least confusing
since this closing is not going through escrow. If possible,
I would prefer you sent me a cashiers check as would happen
at most escrow closings.
Than~k you for your assistance in this matter. I have
~iscussed the above arrangement with Ms. Hill and she was in
agreement.
