THIS AGREEMENT made and'entered into this ,~_~'~day
of October, 1972, by and between the CITY OF BREMERTON, a
Municipal Corporation, and the PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY,
a Washington Corporation;
IT IS HEREBY AGREED by the parties as follows:
1. That those certain 20,000 lumen mercury vapor
street lights, brackets, metal standards and appurtenances,
being of the number of eighty-eight (88), which were transferred
1972 to the
by Bill of Sale dated ~5~ of ~ ~-27~ , ,
PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGIIT COMPANY, may be used by the CITY OF
BREMERTON and/or the BREMERTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and other
civic organizations at such times as may be necessary for
decoration standards, the CITY OF BREMERTON and/or the BREMERTON
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and other civic organizations being fully
responsible for the installatio~ and removal of such decorations
as may be placed upon the aforementioned mercury vapor street
lights, and such installation to be only as approved by Puget
Sound Power & Light Company.

Gentlemen:
It is proposed that Puget purchase for One Dollar ($1.00) the City's
ornamental street lighting system which covers eighty-eight (88)
20,000 lumen street lighting units. It appears that this would be
mutually advantageous for the following reasons:
1. The City would be relieved of all maintenance responsibility
on the ornamental system.
2. Faster service could be provided with single rather than dual
maintemance responsibility.
3. Ail of the mercury vapor street lighting units in the City
would be billed and maintained on the same basis.
Based on Schedule 51 under our existing blanket street lighting contract
with the City, the monthly service charge would increase $1.00 per light.
If this meets with your approval, please execute the attached Bill of
Sale.

THIS INDENTURE made and entered into this ~ay of ~-~_'~ , 1972,
by and between the CITY OF BREMERTON, a municipal corporation of the State of
Washington, located in Kitsap County in said State, hereinafter called "Seller"
and PUGET SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, a Washington corporation, hereinafter called
"Purchaser";
WITNESSETH:
That for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and
other good and valuable considera5ions paid to the Seller by the Purchaser,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the Seller hereby grants, bargains, sells,
transfers, assigns, delivers and warrants unto the Purchaser, its successors and
assigns, the following property located in Kitsap County, State of Washington, to-wit:
Eighty-eight (88) 20,000 lumen mercury vapor
street lights, brackets, metal standards and
all appurtenances, including overhead and
underground circuitry.
Said lights are located in the City of Bremerton
as indicated on the attached street lighting map ,%
being all of the Seller's mercury vapor street
lights mounted on Seller's metal standards.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said property to the Purchaser and its ~
successors and assigns, that the Seller is the owner 'of said property, goods and
chattels and has good right and full authority to sell the same; that same are
free and clear of all liens and encumbrances; and that Seller will warrant and
defend the sale hereby made unto the Purchaser, its successors and assigns,
against all and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim
the same,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Seller has caused this instrument to be executed
by its proper officers thereunto duly authorized the day and year first above written.
