PARKING AGREEMENT
FOR MUNICIPAL PARKING GARAGE
This Parking Agreement entered into by and between the City of Bremerton ("City") and
Kitsap County Health District ("Health District").
WITNESSETH:
1. PREMISES. City is the legal owner of the Municipal Parking Garage ("Garage")
located at 451 Washington, Bremerton, Washington.
2. PARKING PERMITS. The City hereby agrees to sell to the Health District and
the Health District hereby agrees to purchase from the City 50 parking permits for parking in the
Garage by Health District employees who are working in the Norm Dicks government Center
("Subsidized" permits). In addition, the City hereby agrees to make available to employees of
the Health District working in the Norm Dicks Government Center up to 60 parking permits to
park in the Garage ("Non-subsidized" permits). These Non-subsidized permits will be made
available to these employees by direct purchase from its parking contractor, currently Diamond
Parking Services. The monthly fee for both the Subsidized and the Non-subsidized permits shall
be at the same rate as set forth in Section 4 below.
2. PARKING PERMIT USE. The 50 parking permits purchased by the Health
District shall entitle the Health District employees the non-exclusive right to park motor
vehicle(s) within levels 3 through 9 of the Garage. The 60 parking permits made available to the
Health district employees for direct purchase shall entitle those employees the non-exclusive
right to park motor vehicle(s) within levels 8 and 9 of the Garage. All vehicles shall be parked
one vehicle per space and such vehicle(s) shall be parked entirely within the parking space.
3. TERM. The term of this Agreement shall be for a period of one (1) year
beginning December 1, 2004 and shall automatically renew each year thereafter until terminated
as provided herein. Either party may terminate this Agreement with one hundred eighty (180)
days' prior written notice to the other party.
4. FEE. The monthly parking permit fee for both Subsidized and Non-subsidized
permits shall be as follows:
Years 1 and 2 $70 per permit
Years 3 and 4 $75 per permit
Years 5 and thereafter 82% of market rate for public spaces for the Garage
The Health District shall make payment to the City monthly in advance for Subsidized
permits before the first day of each month. Health District employees purchasing Non-subsidized
permits shall purchase the permits monthly in advance from Diamond Parking Services located
at 843 6th Street, Suite 120, Bremerton, Washington, telephone number 360-373-9501 unless
otherwise directed.
5. NOTICES. All notices and payments to be given by either of the parties hereto
to the other party shall by in writing and may either be delivered personally or may be deposited
in the United States Mail, postage prepaid, as either certified or regular mail addressed as
specified below:

6. MISCELLANEOUS. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement and
understanding of the parties, and supersedes all other agreements. There are no representations
or understandings of any kind not set forth herein. Any amendments to this Agreement must be
in writing and executed by both parties.
