SUMMARY:Bremerton Municipal Court is actively revitalizing and expanding its Community
Treatment Court program. The court will receive$81,700 in state funding through the Administrative
Office of the Courts (AOC) to support the programthis fiscal year. Of this funding, $66,454 may be
applied toward a new full-
caseload and the additional responsibilities associated with expanding Treatment Court, we are
requesting approval to establish a Grade 18 Probation and Treatment Court Administrator position.
This position would provide administrative leadership and oversight for both Treatment Court and
Probation operations.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):Requesting Grade 18position, which maxesat
$116,928.
After factoring in state funding of$66,454, fiscal impact would be $50,474this fiscal yearwith
potential for increased state funding in the future.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to create the position of Probation and Treatment Court Administrator at Grade 18; and
authorize reallocation of funding.
