SUMMARY:
This supplement provides for the completion of structural engineering services for the SR 303
Warren Avenue Bridge Pedestrian Improvements Project and extends the contract completion date
through December 31, 2029. The amended scope includes final structural design of the bridge
improvements, geotechnical investigations and analysis supporting design development, public
outreach support, and construction phase engineering support services during project construction.
The original agreement (GCB 3453) was approved on April 28, 2021 in the amount of $315,000. This
supplement adds $684,602, increasing the total contract amount of $999,602. The supplement uses

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): Thebudget is included in the Transportation
Capital Fund and is 100% grant funded with no city match.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve Supplement Agreement No. 1 with Washington State Department of Transportation
for the SR 303 Warren Avenue Bridge Pedestrian Improvements Project; and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
