SUMMARYOver the past 12 months, Anne has demonstrated a high level of effectiveness, initiative,
and leadership while implementing significant operational and organizational improvements within
the City Council Office. Through her performance, Anne has beenable to modernize many office
processes andsuccessfully expanded the strategic and operational support provided to the full City
Council. Based on her exceptional performance and organizational impact, an additional step
increase pursuant to BMC 2.50.032(b)(2) is being recommended.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):The requested step increase from Management
and Professional Band 11, Rate 2 to Rate 3 would result in an additional annual salary cost of
$2,403, consistent with the 2026 Management, Professional, Confidential & Fiduciary Salary Plan.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve request for salary adjustment for Legislative Office Manager, Anne Williams,
pursuant to BMC 2.50.032 (b)(2) from Management and Professional Band 11, Rate 2to Rate 3.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Deny Table Continue No Action
