At the time of inspection the test pressure shall be no less than 10 psi held for no less than 15 minutes. Appliances to be attached to the fuel/gas piping system shall not be used until the final inspection has been performed and approved by a Building Inspector. 21. (DCD-56) Combustion Air: In buildings of unusually tight construction, or within a garage, all fuel - burning appliances, other than cooking appliances and domestic clothes dryers, shall obtain combustion air from outside in accordance with the International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code and/or the International Residential Code. 22. PROTECTION OF APPLIANCES: IRC Section M1307.3. Appliances located in a garage or carport or any other location subject to vehicle damage shall be protected by approved barriers. Appliances having an ignition source shall be elevated so that the source of ignition is at least 18" above the floor in garages and in any room that opens to the garage. Appliances designed to be fixed in position shall be fastened or anchored in an approved method. (DCD-47) DCD: Reinspection Fee: All approved plans, the printed building permit, and the permit inspection placard, are required to be on -site for inspection purposes, and work to be inspected shall be complete and ready for inspection. If an inspection is called for and plans are not available on site, or the work is not ready for inspection, approval will not be granted. In addition, a re -inspection fee will be charged and must be collected by the Department of Community Development prior to any further inspections being performed or approvals granted. 26. (DCD-50) Final Inspection Required: All building permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the City of Bremerton Department of Community Development prior to permit expiration. The failure to request a final inspection or failure to obtain final approval prior to expiration may require a reactivation fee, or a new permit application if more than a year has passed with no activity.
