SUMMARY:Interlocal agreement with Kitsap County Road Department for services provided and/or
equipment rentals for either agency. This would mutually benefit the City of Bremerton and Kitsap
County Road Department.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): The approved 2026chipseal budget foris $650K
and we expect to save $200Kper yearthat can be used for other transportation demands.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Interlocal agreement with Kitsap County Road Department and authorize the
Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
