SUMMARY:City Council is required to formally appoint Committees to write statements to be
Bremerton City Council passed ResolutionNo. 3409to place a Property Tax Levy Increase for
Additional Public Safety Services on August 4, 2026, Primary Ballot. The Fire Department is asking
for a property tax increase of $0.48 per thousand of assessed valuation. This property tax increase
will fund 9 new fire departmentng necessary to support these new employees, new fire
apparatus andequipment, remodel of fire station oneandlong-term funding for future fire apparatus.
