WHEREAStheCityofBremerton desires toplanforfuture growthofitswastewatersystem servicearea; and WHEREASawastewater comprehensiveplan providesa meansto meetfuturewastewater collection, conveyance andtreatment needs; and WHEREAS, theCityhasnotadoptedawastewatercomprehensive plan sincetheWastewater Comprehensive PlanUpdate completed in2014; and WHEREAStherequirementsforcomprehensive wastewaterplanning arespecified intheState ofWashington, Department ofEcology regulations promulgated underWashington Administrative Code173-240-050and RevisedCodeofWashington 36.70A.070; NOW THEREFORE, THECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFBREMERTON, WASHINGTON, DOESHEREBY ORDAINAS FOLLOWS: 9/Lhb TheCity ofBremerton Wastewater Comprehensive Plan Update (November 2025) is herebyincorporated as iffully setforthhereinandadoptedas theCityofBremerton Wastewater ComprehensivePlan. 9/Lhb Corrections. TheCityClerkandcodifiersof thisordinanceareauthorizedtomake necessary corrections tothisordinance including, butnotlimited to, thecorrectionofscrivener, clerical, typographical, andspelling errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsubsection numbersandanyreferences thereto. 9/Lhb Severability. Ifanyoneormoresections, subsections, orsentences ofthis Ordinance areheldtobe unconstitutional orinvalid, suchdecision shallnotaffectthevalidityof theremainingportionofthisOrdinance and thesame shall remainin fullforceandeffect. 9/Lhb EffectiveDate. Thisordinance shalltakeeffectand beinforceten (10) daysfrom andafter itspassage, approvalandpublication asprovided bylaw.
