SUMMARY:Reservoir 18 is a 1.0-million-gallon steel water reservoir located at 1925 Cheryl St. The
scope of work includes abrasive blasting and recoating the entire interior and exterior with a 3-coat
epoxy coating system. The interior and exterior were last recoated in 2007 and 1997 respectively.
The scope of work also includes coating repair to the roofs of Reservoir 17 and 19.
Bids were opened on February 25, 2026. Nine (9) bids werereceived. Coatings Unlimited was the
lowest responsible, responsive bidder in the amount of $659,022.00 (which includes sales tax).

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award the contract for the Reservoir 18 Interior and Exterior Coating Replacement Project
to Coatings Unlimited in the amount of $659,022.00, including sales tax, and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
