SUMMARY: The Council will discuss potential updates to the City Council Rules and Procedures
related to Rule 9, Item 3 (Public Recognition). Depending on the nature of any modifications,
corresponding changes may also be required to Rule 5, Item 1 (Regular Business Meeting).
If consensus is reached, a recommendation may be brought forward at the March 25 Study Session
in combination with proposed changes to Rule 9, Item 2 (Public Comment) that were discussed at
the March 11 Study Session..
Further review of the complete Rules and Procedures will be scheduled at a later date and is
expected to include discussion of related documents, including the Code of Conduct, Agenda Bill
Policy, Roles and Responsibilities, and Council Committees.
