SUMMARY:The Department of Commerce Local and Community Projects Program Grant
Agreement will provide $311,370to fund a new automatic irrigation system and the
purchase/installation
requires no matching funds.

The original approved project budget was $2,015,704, approved by the City Council on July 3, 2024.
Required Budget Amendment $106,000, (New Total Budget $2,121,704).Updated REET reduced by
$220,370.00.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to authorize the Mayorto enter into the Agreement with the State of Washington Department of
Commerce Grant for the Kitsap Lake Park Accessibility Improvements Project;andto finalize and
execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
