LICENSE AGEEENENT
THIS ~GREEMENT made and entered into this / ~ day of
May, 1995 by and between the city of Bremerton, a municipal
corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of
Washington, (hereinafter called "Licensor"), and the Bremerton
Housing Authority (hereinafter called "Licensee").
WITNESS ETH:
In consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter sta~ed,
the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Premioes. The Licensor hereby grants to the Licensee a
license to occupy and use, subject to all of the terms and
conditions hereinafter stated, the following described premises:
Approximately 600 square feet of vacant space located on the south
end of the Max Meigs Fire Station. Said premises are more
specifically described and designated on the sketch map labelled
"Exhibit A", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
2. Scope. The premises may be occupied and used by the
Licensee solely for:
1. Laying concrete or another suitable surface for sitting
a trash compactor;
2. Deposit/removal of trash; and
3. Siting and maintenance of a trash compactor; with
landscaping and development in compliance with City
zoning code.
and for incidental purposes related hereto during the period
beginning May 19, 1995, and continuing until this agreement is
terminated as hereinafter provided.
3. FEE. The Licensee shall pay the Licensor for this license
the rate of zero ($-0-) Dollars per annum.
The Licensor and Licensee agree that the Licensor has not received
any consideration in exchange for its agreement to permit the
above-described activities by the Licensee and that the license is
neither inheritable nor assignable.

The Licensor will permit travel to and from the above-
mentioned site by representatives and agents of the Licensee and
its tenants for purposes of deposit and removal of trash,
maintenance of the compactors, and any activity specifically
related to the above activities.
4. Ter~ination. Either party may terminate this agreement at
any time, by giving written notice to the other, specifying the
date of termination, such notice to be given not less than thirty
(30) days prior to the date therein specified.
The term of such permissive use is subject to the complete
discretion of the city and may be revoked by the City at any time
and for any reason.
Should the premises, or any essential part thereof, be totally
destroyed by fire or other casualty, this agreement shall
immediately terminate; and in the case of partial destruction, this
agreement may be terminated by either party by giving written
notice to the other specifying the date of termination, such notice
to be given within ten (10) days following such partial destruction
and not less than two (2) days prior to the termination date
therein specified.
On the dissolution of the Licensee, this agreement shall
immediately terminate. If the Licensee shall make or attempt an
assignment for the benefit of creditors, or be thrown into
receivership or adjudicated a bankrupt, or take advantage of any
bankruptcy or insolvency law, the Licensor may terminate this
agreement by giving written notice to the Licensee, specifying the
date of termination, such notice to be given not less than five (5)
days prior to the date therein specified.
On any termination of this agreement the Licensee shall quit the

premises, and shall remove therefrom all property installed in, on
or attached to the premises.
$. Wotice. Notice which is mailed to the Lessor in care of
the Bremerton City Clerk, 239 Fourth Street, Bremerton, Washington
98337; or to Licensee at 110 Russell Road, Bremerton, Washington
98312, or delivered to the Licensee, shall be sufficient notice
hereunder, unless and until the Licensor or Licensee shall
designate a different representative or address.
In witness whereof, we hereby agree to be bound by the foregoing
and affix our signature hereto.
