SUMMARY:Staff have negotiated a contract modification with Parametrixto complete the 2024
updates to the Active Transportation Plan (ATP). The ATP updates were started in 2023 with the
Comprehensive Plan updates and both were originally intended to be delivered together. However,
additional public outreach and engagement were needed to complete the ATP. The plan will
establish the vision for future improvements to active transportation facilities in the City, and outline
community engagement that will take place during the planning process. The amendment amount is
$185,728.45for a total amended contract amount of $714,580.05, including this Contract
Modification.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): This project is funded in the 2025 and 2026
Transportation CIP.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to authorize the Contract Modification with Parametrix, Inc. for the Active Transportation Plan;
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the modificationwith substantially the same terms
and conditions as presented.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Deny Table Continue No Action
