Interlocal Agreement for Juvenile Detention Facilities Between Kitsap County and the City of
Bremerton (KC-093-26)
FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): Increase from One Hundred Fifty to Two Hundred
Dollars ($200.00) per bed-day for every Juvenile confined in the Detention Facility.
Per the Finance Department, $1,948,425 in the 2026 proposed budget for Care/Custody for the
Kitsap County Corrections (jail), Kitsap County Juvenile Detention, and WASPC (home detention).
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Moveto approve Interlocal Agreement KC-093-26;and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute
the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Deny Table Continue No Action
