INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT
Pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW and .to other provisions of the
la~,', City of Redmond, Washington, hereinafter called "The City" and
the following named municipal corporation of the State of
Washington, City of Bremerton, hereinafter called "the political
subdivision", hereby agree to cooperative governmental purchasing
upon the follow, lng terms and conditions.
(1) The City in contracting for the purchase of goods,
services and/or equipment for the City of P~edmond agrees to extend
said ~!ontracis to other political subdivision herein named to tile
e.xient permitted by law, and agreed upon by the parties.
(2) The political subdivision accepts responsibility for
compliance with any additional or varying laws and regulations
governing purchases by or' on behalf of the political subdivision
in question. A purehase by a political subdivision shall be
effected by a purchase order from the political subdivision,
directed to the vendor or other pariy contracting to furnish goods
or services to The CSty.
(3) The City accepts no responsibility for the performance
of anx purchasing contract by the vendor~ and The City accepts no
responsibility for payment of the purchase price by the political
subdivision.
(4) The politiea] snbdivision reserves the right to contract
independently for the purchase of any goods os' services, with or
without notice to The City.
(5) The City reserves the right to exclude the undersigned
political subdivision, or any class containing the undersigned
political subdivision, or political subdivisions in genera]~ from
any particular purchasing contract, k'ith or withont notice to the
poliLiea] subdivision.
(6) This Agreement shall continue in force until cancelled
by either party, which cancellation may be effected with or ~ithout
noiime to the other party.
(7) This Agreement covers all City of Redmond's contracts.
