WHEREAS, theCityCouncilpassedtheFiscalYear2025-2026CityBudget Ordinance No. 5503 onNovember20, 2024; and WHEREAS, a mid-bienniumbudget modification waspresented totheCity Councilinatimely manner fortheirreview, inaccordancewith RCW35A.34.130; and WHEREAS, theCityCouncilscheduledhearingsonthebiennial budget modification proposal forthepurpose ofproviding information regarding estimates and programs; and WHEREAS, severalCityDepartmentsandFundsareexperiencingoranticipate additionalexpenses due tofactors suchascostsrelatedtoprovision ofcontracted servicesand changed allocations ofstafftime; and WHEREAS, severalCityDepartmentsandFundsrequire adjustment to revenues estimates in2026ortiming changes fromthatwhich wasanticipated inthe2026budget; and WHEREAS, eachoftheseactionshasanimpactontheCityof Fiscal Year2025-2026BiennialBudgetresulting intheneedtoamendthisBudgetdocument; NOWTHEREFORE, THECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFBREMERTON, WASHINGTON, DOESHEREBY ORDAIN ASFOLLOWS: SECTION 1. OrdinanceNo. 5503establishingtheCityofBremerto 2026 Budget ishereby amended asfollows; 1) regularrevenuesandunencumberedfundbalancesof $253,942,230, thetotalfor eachfund assetforthinExhibitA, attachedheretoandincorporated hereinbythisreference, and 2) inaccordancewithBMC3.02.010, expendituresandendingfundbalancesof 253,942,230assetforthinExhibitAandauthoringstaffingadjustments assetforthinExhibit B, attachedheretoand incorporated bythisreference. 1 2025-2026Mid-BienniumBudgetAmendment Docusign Envelope ID: F4D63EB1-84B1-42D8-B335-443CA367E9E5 SECTION2.
