SUMMARY:-2026
PreliminaryMid-Biennium Update. The preliminarymid-biennium updateanticipates aproperty tax
increase of the full 1% as allowed by law.Utility taxrates have a projected increase of 3% year over
yearfor water,wastewater, andstormwater.The proposed budget also maintainsthe B&O tax
exemption rate to $1,040,000 and includes interfund transfers between funds where appropriate.
Overall, the revenue projections throughout all funds remain conservative.

Total proposed general fund revenue, without beginning fund balancefor 2025, is $56,885,124. With
beginning fund balance, total general fund revenue is $74,549,923.
Total proposed general fund revenue, without beginning fund balance for 2026, is $56,996,704. With
beginning fund balance, total general fund revenue is $70,977,858.
Total proposed revenue city wide, for 2025 without beginning fund balance, is $192,161,133. With
beginning fund balance, total revenue city wide is $289,602,375.
Total proposed revenue city wide, for 2026 without beginning fund balance, is $176,191,104. With
beginning fund balance, total revenue city wide is $253,974,546.
