Dear Franchise Administrator:
As part of our ongoing commitment to keep you and our customers informed aboutchanges to Xfinity TV services, we wanted to update you that Comcast’s right to
continue carrying Root Sports NW channels ended at 11:59pm Eastern time on
September 30, 2025.
As a result, we are not currently authorized to carry Root Sports NW channels as partof our lineup. Additionally, the owner of the channel has indicated that it will be
ceasing operations by the end of 2025.
Root Sports NW was viewable on Standard – Definition channel 30, and High-
Definition channel 627 for Xfinity customers in Washington State.
Since we are not currently authorized to carry Root Sports NW programming, we
have implemented a channel slate) on the channel and activatedwww.xfinity.com/programmingchanges to help keep our customers informed during
this period.
Customers will receive billing credit to reflect the adjustment to the RSN (Regional
Sports Network) fee, applied appropriately to their account."
