SUMMARY:Theboiler at the wastewater treatment plantneedsa new hot water boiler vessel. The
vessel is at the end of its lifespan and has been rebuilt several times over theyears. The existing hot
water vessel cannot be rebuilt again. Staff procured a quote for a new vessel from NW Boilers for a
new hot water vessel for $161,420 including taxes, shipping and installation.

Funding is available through 2025-2026 WWTP Capital Improvement budget
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the purchase of a new boiler vessel from NW Boiler LLC though a Goods and
Services Agreement for $161,420 including tax, shipping and installation;and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
