SUMMARY:In order to receive federal mitigation funds after a disaster, theentity must have an
adoptedHazard Mitigation Plan. Kitsap County and the four citieswithin,have a plan in place, which
hasbeenrevised in 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2024. This resolution will adopt the revised Kitsap County
Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan2024for the City of Bremerton.
