Thursday, March 11, 2020 at 6:00 pm We live, work, and gather today on Coast Salish ancestral lands, where multiple Indigenous Tribes have long sustained their cultures and traditions, lived in harmony with the lands and waters, and resiliently resisted the ongoing harms of colonialism. We respect the Tribes’ sovereignties, rights to self-determination, and sacred connections to this place. In solidarity, we work toward truth-telling reconciliation. Please center yourself in this context as we gather. Please take a moment to read the powerful words below, from the Suquamish and Port Gamble S’Kllalam Tribes.
