HomeMy WebLinkAbout 5910 12_15_2021 4JAGENDA BILL CITY OF BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT: Contract Modification Study Session Date: Agreement No. 2 with Herrera COUNCIL MEETING Date: Environmental Consultants for the Pine Department: Road Stormwater Improvements Project Presenter: December 8, 2021 December 15, 2021 PW & Utilities Gunnar Fridriksson Phone: (360) 473-5758 SUMMARY: This amendment adds additional services to include design, survey and legal descriptions, and assistance during construction. The original project scope of services for this stormwater project did not include the design of significant roadway improvements on Robin and Eagle Avenues. In the early stages of design, it became apparent that given the scope of impacts to the roads, both roads would benefit from improvements with this project. This amendment will add a complete roadway design for Eagle and close a sidewalk gap on Robin including adding new ADA ramps. This amendment also includes scope for preparing additional required easements, and construction support services. The original contract amount was $419,920 with Contract Modification No. 1 increasing the contract amount by 50,480 for additional survey and design support. This Contract Modification No. 2 increases the contract amount by $161,782, resulting in a revised contract amount of $632,182, ATTACHMENTS: 1. Contract Modification Agreement No. 2, 2. Vicinity Map FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This increase in the contract amount is included in the approved 2022 project budget and is funded by both the stormwater Fund and the Transportation Projects Fund.
