SUMMARY:Bremerton Fire desires to enter an interlocal agreement (ILA) to utilize the RAVE
communication system which is provided and funded by the Kitsap County Department of
Emergency Management (DEM). This system allows for internal communications within the fire
department as well as external communications with the public in the event of an emergency.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Movetoapprove Interlocal Agreement between Kitsap County Department of Emergency
Management and the City of Bremerton Fire Department and authorize theFire Chiefto finalize and
execute the RAVE interlocal agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
