Public Hearing
PRESENT: Jan Hillman, Mariwyn Tinsley, David Grindstaff HR Staff-Charlotte Belmore,
Assistant City Attorney Simon Stocker
ABSENT: Alan Strange, Joanne Morris
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM.
Approval of Minutes: M/S/C/U (Tinsley/Grindstaff)
Open for Public Input: Del Knauss stated that the city’s budget was not looking good for 2004
and urged the commission to take that fact into account before making any decisions.
Discussion on Draft Ordinance: After discussion, the Commission voted to approve the draft
ordinance increasing the City Council President’s monthly stipend by $25.00 per month for
2004. M/S/C/U (Tinsley/Hillman)
Discussed First Meeting of 2004: After a brief discussion, it was decided that the Commission
would hold its first meeting of 2004 on Thursday, February 5.
