SUMMARY:Pursuant to RCW 41.56, negotiations have concluded between representatives of the
City and the Bremerton Police OfficersGuild(BPOG) resulting in the attached Collective Bargaining
Agreement for January 1, 2025through December 31, 2026. The agreement includes a 4.6% cost of
living adjustment and an 8.4% market adjustment for 2024, a 4%cost of living adjustment for 2025,
and a 3.5%cost of living adjustment for 2026. The Collective Bargaining Agreement has been
ratified by the BPOGmembership. Council approval is required to implement this agreement.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): The projected additional cost of implementing this
three-yearCollective Bargaining Agreement is approximately $4,101,246 forthe term of the
Agreement.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:N/A (Closed Exempt Sessions were held in lieu of Study Sessions)
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement by and between the City of Bremerton and the
Bremerton Police for 2024through 2026;and further authorize the Mayor to finalize
and execute the Collective Bargaining Agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions
as presented.
