SUMMARY:The action before Council is to conduct a Public Hearing and adopt an Ordinance
amending BMC 20.02Project Permits, BMC 20.46Special Development Standards, BMC 20.58
Land Use Permits,BMC 20.60Low Density Residential (R-10), BMC 20.78Medium Density
Residential (R-18), and BMC 20.79High Density Residential (R-40).Proposed Zoning Code
Amendments are intendedtoachieve compliance with new State permitting requirements that take
effect January 1, 2025. A public workshop was held October 21, 2024, and the Planning Commission
unanimously recommend the City Council approve the proposed amendments at a Public Hearing
held on November 18, 2024.
