SUMMARY:
The project will fund High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) and Traffic Safety Enforcement Program
patrols to prevent impaired driving, distracted driving, seat belt use, speeding, and motorcycle safety.
ATTACHMENTS:Interagency Agreement Between the Washington Traffic Safety Commission and
the Bremerton Police Department
FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): The WTSC has awarded the WTSC Region 9
Traffic Safety Task Force $135,000 to conduct coordinated enforcement and activities. Task Force
to reimburse expenses incurred as a participant in this grant.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms
and conditions as presented.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Deny Table Continue No Action
