SUMMARY:
The janitorial contract is set to expire on December 31, 2024. The city is seeking to accept the
Washington State DES contract#24723for janitorial services to obtain best available pricing for
these services.The DES contract is set to expireon March 11, 2027 with a possible 2 year
extension. We are seeking a two year contractfrom January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): Total annual cost $121,525.32which will be
included in the 2025& 2026 budgets
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approvethe contractfor City Facilities janitorial services with Sealx andauthorize the Mayor
to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Deny Table Continue No Action
