SUMMARY:
Neighbors along the 900 block of Washington Ave have requested the establishment of a residential
permit-only zone, which requires Council to create via BMC 10.10.040(e). This is due to a marked
(60%) decrease in parking availability from the Washington and 11th project, with reports that non-
street-residents are taking up the limited parking in both day and nighttime. This is in-line with
existing permit-only residential restricted parking zones, such as Highland Ave.
