RESOLUTION NO. 2022.1
A RESOLUTIONof the Audit Committeeof the City of
Bremerton, Washington, amending Bylawsand Related Procedures
for the City Auditor and Audit Committee.
WHEREAS, the City Auditor and Audit Committeedesiretoamend itsBylaws
and Related Procedures for its operations; NOW THEREFORE,
THE AUDIT COMMITTEEOF THE CITY OF BREMERTON,
WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.The City Auditor and Audit Committee Bylaws and Related
Procedures were adopted as set forth in Exhibit Aat its regular meeting onMay 23, 2022;and
the committee wishes to amend its Bylaws and Procedures to clarify the role of the Auditor,
correct language relating to appointments and terms of committee members, address remote
attendance, and update its procedures per the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA).
SECTION 2.Severability.If any one or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3.Effective Date.This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
PASSED by the Audit Committeeof the City of Bremerton, Washington this
