appointment without the consent of the City Council.
Brian Hauschel, Parks Operation Manager,was appointed by the Mayor as Interim Parks and
Recreation Director on June 1, 2024.
Tim Barker starts as Parks and Recreation Director on October 16, 2024. This is 137 days after Mr.
Parks and Recreation Director.
The Council is required to consent to the additional 17 days of Mr. Hauschelserving as Interim Parks
and Recreation Director.
This was not discussed at a committee meeting prior to Study Session.
