SUMMARY:The Work includes butis not limited to replacement of approximately 293 lf of 8-inch
gravity sewer pipeline in Lewis Avenue.
Requests for bids were sent to contractors selected from the Municipal Research and Services
Center (MRSC) Small Works Roster. Threebids were received. Bids were opened on August 28,
2024. The lowest responsive, responsible bidder was Pape & SonsConstructionInc., who submitted
abid in the amount of $308,974.85including sales tax.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):
The work is fully funded in the 2024 Wastewater Capital Budget.
STUDY SESSION ACTION:Consent Agenda General Business Public Hearing
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Public Works Agreement with Pape & Sons Construction, Inc. for the Lewis
Avenue Sewer Replacement Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement
with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
