SUMMARY:
The SLCGP Grant Program enables the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to make targeted cybersecurity investments in State and
Local Governments. The statelegislature will be providing the matching funds for these grants.
Three projects were accepted for grant funding:
Project#1 Deploy an MDR System for Real-Time Cyber Threat Monitoring and Response in the
amount of $78,000
Project#2 Centralizing Business Intelligence with IT Operations Software in the amount of $40,500.
Project#3 Replace Outdated EOL Switches with Modern Equivalents Incorporating Current Security
Standards in the amount of $85,071.

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount):
This grant will notimpact existing budget amounts, there are no matching requirements for the city.
All ongoing costs for new services have been added into the IT budget going forward.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to accept the FY 2023 State andLocal Cybersecurity Grant Program; and authorize the Mayor
to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
