SUMMARY:
The City Council kick-offmeeting for the 2024 Comprehensive Plan update is intended to familiarize
the Council with the adjusted Comprehensive Plan schedule and review opportunities. From this
point, Council with receive monthly installments of material related to the Comprehensive Plan in
order to take public comment and provide Staff with feedback. The attached Staff Memowill provide
Council with a status update on work completed, work in progress, and an updated schedule for
Comprehensive Plan adoption.

FISCAL IMPACTS:The State mandated Comprehensive Plan Update is a work item that is part of
the Department of Community Development Staffing Plan.
