SUMMARY:
The Fire Department would like to accept the Assistance to Firefighter Grant (AFG) through FEMA to
purchase two Lucus CPR devices. This grand requires a 10% city match. The total grant request is
for $68,258. The cities portion would be $6,826.
ATTACHMENTS: Email to Fire Chief
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The fiscal impact would be $6,826. This would
come out of the current 2024 Fre Department budget.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to authorize the Fire Department to accept an Assistance to Firefighter Grant from the Federal
Emergency Management Agency.
COUNCIL ACTION: Approve Deny Table Continue No Action
