SUMMARY:
In August 2021, the City executed a contract (#6263) with SCJ Alliance, Inc. for design of the Warren
Avenue Bridge Pedestrian Improvements in the amount of $255,435.38.Contract Modification No.
01 throughNo. 05 have been executed; extending the contract term to December 31, 2024 and
increasing the contract value to $454,460.82.This proposed Contract Modification(CM)No. 06
increases the contract value by $665,356.40 for a total contract amount of $1,119,817.22 and
extends the contract term thru December 31, 2028. CM No. 06 generally includes civil design, UBIT
procurement, public involvement, environmental permitting, WSDOT permitting and utility
coordination.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approveContract Modification No.06 to the Agreement with SCJ Alliancefor design of the
Warren Avenue Bridge Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
