SUMMARY:The Parks & Recreation Department applied for and received funding from the
improvements to the Haddon Park Renovation Project. A major scope item was the replacement of
the substandard, non-accessible restroom. The new accessible prefabricated restroom will feature
twounisex restrooms, amaintenance room and will be prefabricated from high-strength precast
concrete, making the building easier to maintain and better able to withstand the rigors of vandalism.
Restroom pricing has been competitively solicited and publicly awarded through Sourcewell. Total
Cost:$225,141

Construction Fund as part of the Haddon Park Renovation Project.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the purchase of restroom from CXT through Sourcewell in the amount of $225,141
(includes Washington State Sales Tax)and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the
agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
