SUMMARY:SealedbidsforconstructionoftheKitsapLakeParkRenovationProjectwereopened
on May 24, 2024.Two (2) bids were received.RedsideConstruction LLC was the lowest
responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of $1,133,661.55 (WSST included).

FISCALIMPACTS(IncludeBudgeted Amount):Fundingfortheprojectincludes:$994,400from
State of Washington RCO grants; $252,840 Department of Commerce grant; $46,883 CDBG
(completed); $10,000 from Bremerton Parks Foundation grant; $100,000 from Public Works &
Utilities, and $300,000 REET. Total project estimate is $2,015,704.

Move to award a contract in the amount of $1,133,661.55 (WSST included) to RedsideConstruction
LLC for construction of the Kitsap Lake Park Renovation Project; and authorize the Mayor to finalize
and executethe agreement with substantiallythe sameterms andconditions as presented;andfurther
authorize a budget adjustment of $311,581 per the attached project budget summary.
