SUMMARY:Reservoir 17is a 1.0-million-gallonsteel water reservoir located at 400 Ridge Lane.
The scope of work includesabrasive blasting and recoating the entire interiorwith a 3-coat epoxy
coating system. The interior was last coated in 1995.
Bids were opened on June 5, 2024.Two (2)bids were received. Markleys Precision Companywas
the lowest responsible, responsive bidder in the amount of $387,938.46 (which includes sales tax).

FISCAL IMPACTS(Include Budgeted Amount): This project is included in the 2024Water Capital
Budget.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:Move to award the contract for the Reservoir 17Interior Coating
Replacement Project toMarkleys Precision Companyin the amount of $387,938.46, including sales
tax;and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms
and conditions as presented.
